DUCA is looking for a HR & Total Rewards Analyst to join our People & Culture team!

Job Purpose & Summary

The HR & Total Rewards Analyst leads the data collection, management, and analysis activities across the P&C team. Supporting multiple business partners, this position completes job evaluations, reviews compensation recommendations, and plays a key role in the execution of DUCA’s Total Rewards programs. 

In addition to supporting DUCA’s employee engagement, annual performance, and compensation cycle activities, this position will lead the annual pay equity maintenance exercise.  With accountability for preparing robust human resources related reporting to inform business decisions, this position compiles monthly and quarterly attrition, headcount, and activity reports, as well as supports the production of workforce demographic and other compensation related reporting.

Key Accountabilities & Duties

  • Prepare robust human resources related reporting to inform business decisions including headcount, workforce demographic, compensation, and other ad-hoc reports as required
  • Prepare the regular monthly attrition analysis and quarterly reporting; facilitate departure classification meetings; generate and present relevant insights based on data analysis
  • Complete non-executive job evaluations, support the development of tools and processes to efficiently gather all information needed from internal partners prior to the evaluation process; create tools for documenting the rationale for job evaluation decisions
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and other internal stakeholders to assess compensation-related recommendations to ensure alignment with DUCA’s compensation philosophy, internal equity, and external competitiveness
  • Lead the annual pay equity maintenance exercise; conduct and present the data analysis and prepare the associated reporting
  • Lead the data collection and analysis for the annual performance review cycle; prepare data cuts and distribute as needed, generate and present relevant insights based on the analysis; prepare the data for insertion in the CEO report
  • Support the data collection and analysis for the annual compensation cycle; prepare data cuts and distribute as needed, assist with the review and development of insights based on the analysis
  • Support the annual employee engagement survey process; prepare participant information for survey provider; analyze results and prepare heat maps or other data cuts as required
  • Complete annual market compensation and benefit surveys
  • Support the review of all Total Rewards programs such as the group benefits and pension plans; conduct forecasting and analysis of proposed enhancements; assist with business cases as needed
  • Support the development of the P&C and organization wide AOP; complete monthly tracking to compare YTD with budgeted / forecasted amounts and escalate discrepancies
  • Ensure the design and delivery of analysis and reporting from multiple data sources is repeatable and automated where possible
  • Coordinate, create, and distribute all P&C internal surveys; manage the P&C Survey Monkey account, associated response related data, and reports
  • Develop and document internal standard operating procedures / processes to ensure consistency
  • Act as a subject matter expert on HR related projects; monitor and recommend enhancements to the HR & Total Rewards reporting capabilities 

Occupational Experience & Education Requirements 

  • Undergraduate degree in in business, finance, human resources, or a related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with HR technologies (HRIS and other systems)
  • Experience working with compensation / total rewards programs
  • Experience with job evaluation tools and methodologies

  • Advanced skills in MS Office, with expert level Excel sk0ills
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop insights and meaning from data
  • Capable and comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills, technologies, and approaches
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage requests and activities for multiple business partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize business information and develop it into cohesive, professional reports and presentations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when collecting, documenting, and recording data and other information
  • Well versed in data management and analytics
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects/initiatives
  • High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Collaborates well in a team environment
