Securitization Administrator 

DUCA is looking for a Securitization Administrator to join our growing Treasury team!

Job Purpose & Summary

The Securitization Administrator is responsible for various functions and duties related to back office processing and document administration for Securitization and Treasury functions. The Administrator carries out all work with a high degree of collaboration, accuracy and attention to detail with a drive to deliver outstanding service to internal teams as they support Member transactions.

Key Accountabilities & Duties

  • Aid in Securitization activities
    • The preparation and distribution of Securitization documentation while adhering to reporting deadlines
    • Timely email correspondence with all servicers and other related parties
    • Set-up of HQLA pools on Bloomberg
    • Gathering and recording daily data relating to Securitization cash flows for various servicers
    • Preparation and posting of funds received from Servicers
    • Accurate and timely preparation of GL bookings relating to monthly securitization activity
    • Accurate preparation of GL booking relating to the settlement of securitization pools
    • Reconciliation of Securitization GL’s
    • Preparation and timely reporting of Securitization maturities as a Percentage of Regulatory Capital
    • Ensure Securitization Procedures Binder is accurate and up to date.
  • Process daily wire transactions including:
    • Create and post or review and release Treasury related outgoing wire transactions
    • Review and process Treasury related incoming wire transactions along with associated service charges
    • Correspond with Operations Administrator to coordinate the creation of outgoing and processing of incoming wires when required
  • Establish the daily Corporate Foreign Exchange Rates; Extract daily market rate from Thomson Reuters and set the Corporate Exchange rate in the Banking system for Branch daily transactions.
  • Daily Treasury Metrics reporting; Reporting of key bank account balances and critical Treasury metrics to senior management for day to day Treasury decision making purposes.
  • Administration of Market Linked GIC’s – reconciliation, reporting and collaborate with Deposits Department to ensure accuracy
  • Share accounting – reconciliation of Share offering initiatives – monitor redemptions to ensure redemptions do no breach regulatory maximums
  • Other duties, as assigned

Occupational Experience & Education Requirements

  • Post-secondary education, with a specialization in Finance
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in Finance
  • Retail banking experience considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Good computer skills including Word, email and use of Internet with a proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using a banking system is considered an asset
  • Strong administrative and time management skills
  • Problem-solving and investigative skills
  • Good judgment and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Team player

Normal office environment.
